Are you planning for your own future, or caring for an elderly loved one? Don’t know where to start? The 2012 Elder Law Symposium, presented by the Maryland State Bar Association’s Leadership Academy, will help you navigate the elder care maze.
Scheduled for Saturday, May 19, 2012, at the Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold Maryland, this FREE one-day symposium will provide you with professional and legal advice to address your elder law concerns. Throughout the day, experienced and knowledgeable Maryland attorneys will discuss important elder law issues, including, (1) Estate planning; (2) Cost of care issues, including Medicare; and (3) Types of fraud and abuse targeting the elderly, and prevention strategies.
In addition, pre-registered attendees with appointments will have the opportunity to meet with an attorney for a FREE 20-minute consultation regarding their elder law issue,with the opportunity to have a power of attorney drafted and executed. Attendees are strongly encouraged to pre-register for the symposium to make an appointment for an attorney consultation. Only pre-registered attendees with appointments will be guaranteed an attorney consultation.
